Blake Shelton Concert

My mom and her friend were walking in the mall this past week and Microsoft now has a store in the Oak Park mall.  They were giving out wrist  band strips to see Blake Shelton live in concert Saturday, June 30!  So of course she took as many tickets as possible and told me on Friday!  I couldn't believe it!  I've been wanting to see him in concert!  So with it being 104 degrees outside we arrived around 1:20 so we could be as close as possible to the stage.  He came out around 2:00 p.m. and the crowd went wild.  He sang, "Footloose," "God Gave Me You for the Ups and Downs," "Drink On It," "Austin," "Over," "Honey Bee," "Some Beach," "She Wouldn't Be Gone," "Who Are You When I'm Not Lookin," and much more.  We had a blast.  My coworkers, Shelley Webb and April Chronister were also there!  He is one good lookin older man.  I love the chizzled look he can pull off.

This photo cracks me up of my mom, like she is off dreaming about Blake.

Country is not Sarah's thing but glad she came!
